Gender Equality

TECHNITAL is committed to actively promoting gender equality, recognising that gender equality contributes to creating a more inclusive, innovative and productive work environment. TECHNITAL, therefore, intends to ensure equal treatment of men and women in all company processes, eliminating all forms of discrimination and promoting gender balance, in accordance with the UNI/PdR 125:2022 Reference Practice.

TECHNITAL pays particular attention to the following aspects:

Selection and recruitment

With regard to personnel selection and recruitment, TECHNITAL establishes the following principles:

  • The selection of the candidate must be indifferent to the gender factor; 
  • Selection criteria must take into account personal skills, professionalism, competence, specialisation and experience;
  • Marriage, pregnancy and family responsibilities must not be taken into account in the selection process; 
  • The remuneration envisaged at the time of recruitment must not be influenced by gender.

The company intends to ensure that those involved in the recruitment process receive adequate training on gender equality so that they can conduct the selection process in a balanced manner.

Career management

TECHNITAL promotes a culture based on meritocracy and respect for people regardless of their gender. Each employee's career development opportunities depend solely on skills, results and commitment, i.e. on merit, and must not be influenced by gender. 

TECHNITAL manages personnel careers according to the following principles:

  • The design of career paths and the way in which career paths are presented must be gender-neutral;
  • Information on career paths must be transparent, so that all workers are aware of opportunities for growth as well as effective gender equality;
  • The working environment must provide all people with the necessary safety and comfort, taking individual diversity into account;
  • Data on dismissals must be analysed, verifying gender-based turnover.

Training and development

In terms of training and development TECHNITAL is committed to

  • Ensure access to training for all employees in compliance with the principle of equity and in particular without gender discrimination;
  • Carry out training activities aimed at all employees, designed to raise awareness of diversity, inclusion, with particular attention to gender equality;
  • Carry out training activities, aimed at sector managers, on issues related to the ability to listen and communicate in an inclusive manner.

Wages and incentives

TECHNITAL intends to ensure pay equity regardless of gender.

In determining, paying and adjusting remuneration, the organisation respects the following principles:

  • People's remuneration is recognised in relation to their role and responsibilities; 
  • Any bonuses and benefits are not based on gender diversity; 
  • Remuneration, bonus payments and benefit allocations, for transparency, are documented and accessible at an aggregate level to the entire staff;
  • Any staff member is recognised as having the right to report any inequalities.
