Who are we looking for?

  • Degree in Engineering (preferably Civil or equivalent);
  • At least 10-15 years of experience as a Project Manager and/or Designer in the maritime/port sector;
  • Solid experience in the technical and economic management of complex projects;
  • Experience in design time and cost control;
  • Excellent organisational, coordination and customer management skills;

Tender Office Specialist, Italy

Position: Tender Office Specialist, Italy

We are looking for someone with experience in market analysis, tendering processes and the subsequent preparation of the administrative documentation required for participation.

The role will involve participating in initiatives and/or tenders organised by Technital to secure design, construction management and, more generally, the engineering services required for the construction of major infrastructure projects. Requirements and Skills:

  • Experience in the engineering procurement sector
  • Knowledge of the Public Procurement Code (Legislative Decree 36/2023)
  • A degree in Law or a related field;
  • Proficiency in English;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing the administrative documents required for tender participation (these tenders always relate to the provision of engineering services);

What is the role?

The candidate will have a direct impact on complex and strategic projects, dealing with:

  • Technical and managerial coordination of national and international railway tenders;
  • Development and drafting of technical documentation for tenders and project proposals;
  • Coordination of multidisciplinary teams and foreign partners;
  • Supervision of the entire project cycle: from feasibility studies to executive design (including integrated contracts);

The successful candidate will support the preparation of expressions of interest and technical and financial bids for international tenders, primarily funded by multilateral banks (EU, World Bank, UN, AfDB, ADB, etc.), collaborating with Technital’s various offices and branches abroad.

Requirements and Skills: 

  • Degree in Languages, Economics, Law, International Relations or related fields;
  • Excellent knowledge of English and French, both written and spoken;

  • Knowledge of Spanish is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Civil Engineer - Overseas Project Management

Main responsibilities:

  • Liaising with various overseas construction sites where the company is responsible for project management;
  • Assisting in verifying that works are carried out correctly in accordance with the approved design, the tender specifications and the relevant regulations;
  • Assistance in verifying site accounts (progress reports, measurement books, accounting records), with particular attention to the formal and substantive correctness of the documents;
  • Assistance in managing quantity take-offs, with critical assessment of quantities and costs;
  • Analysis of variations;
  • Verification of technical site documentation;
  • Support in administrative management in accordance with a rigorous approach to legal and administrative principles;
  • Analysis of works schedules.

Technical and professional skills:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil Engineering);
  • Ability to critically analyse site correspondence;
  • Analytical approach to the technical evaluation of design solutions and construction issues;
  • Knowledge of public works regulations;
  • Ability to produce technical and administrative site documentation;
