Water Treatment is an important link in the water cycle where every single drop counts and it is precious. Potabilisation treatment allows the use of water otherwise unsafe and ex-post treatment reduces the impact on the water reserves making such resource easier to be used in the future.

Water treatment is therefore a relevant technological portion of the overall integrated approach to the effective management of natural resources.
