Technital has been commissioned by the Sicilian Regional Government to carry out a technical and economic feasibility study for seismic improvement works on the Poma dam, in accordance with the new Public Procurement Code.
- The cost of the works to be designed exceeds €13 million.
- Dam height: 55 m | Reservoir volume: 72.5 million m³
- Average supply to the Jato water treatment plant: 500 l/s, serving Palermo and the coastal area
- The reservoir allows for the irrigation of approximately 9,000 hectares of the Partinico plain
